PERSONAL CARE SERVICES-PLUS (For Medicaid Recipients)
 Personal Care Services-Plus (PCS–Plus) is an enhancement to the Personal Care Services (PCS) program. PCS–Plus is for Medicaid recipients who have a qualifying medical condition and personal care needs that exceed the service limit for PCS. Services include assistance with personal care tasks such as bathing, toileting, ambulating, and monitoring vital signs. In addition, services such as housekeeping and home management tasks will be provided to ensure that the clients health is maintained and such tasks are essential to the client’s overall well being and activities of daily living.

PCS Plus provides for more hours daily and monthly than the traditional Personal Care Services. For example, Personal Care Services only allows for a maximum of 15 hours per week which averages 60 hours per month while PCS Plus provides 20 hours per week which averages 80 hours per month. Personal Care Services Plus provides the same tasks and activities as outlined in the Personal Care Services Section of this site. The only true difference between PCS and PCS Plus is the amount of hours a Medicaid client can receive monthly.

ATTENTION PRIVATE PAY CLIENTS
Private Pay clients can receive as many in home care hours daily and monthly as desired without limitations set by The Department of Medical Assistance (MEDICAID). We offer great rates to assist families with obtaining the maximum amount of hours needed or desired without the hassle of government regulation.
